Chapter 7: The Distillery, has been created in collaboration with Magnum Photographers, Steve McCurry, Martin Parr, Paolo Pellegrin, Gueorgui Pinkhassov, Mark Power and Alec Soth.

Today Magnum represents over 90 international photographers, including previous Macallan Masters of Photography contributor, Elliot Erwitt. (Chapter 4: The People)

An extremely rare 1967 Laphroaig bottled by famed Italian bottler Samaroli, was auctioned by whiskyauctioneer.com earlier this week fetching a staggering £61,000.
One of only 720 bottles, this 15-year-old Laphroaig was signed by the legendary bottler himself. Silvano Samaroli passed away in February 2017 leaving a legacy of stellar bottlings behind him.
Samaroli was the first independent whisky bottler to set up outside of the United Kingdom and is credited as being one of the main driving forces behind Italy's love of whisky.
Another Samaroli bottling, a Bowmore 1966 Bouquet was sold just last month through whiskyauctioneer.com, setting a new yet short-lived auction record at £51,611.
A similar 1967 Laphroaig was sold by Whisky-Onlineauctions.com back in 2014 for £ 5,700. Although not signed by Samaroli it still goes to show the level of interest in his bottlings, even more so since his passing. ... See MoreSee Less
